YaraMila™ WINNER™ is a high quality, compound NPK with micronutrients, ideally suited for vegetables including potatoes. A unique product for South Africa from Yara, YaraMila Winner delivers uniform nutrition across the crop every time.
YaraMila™ WINNER™ is an excellent combination of Nitrogen. Nitrate Nitrogen is immediately available to the plant and its uptake is rapid. Ammonium Nitrogen is a little slower in availability to the plant as it needs to be converted in the soil to Nitrate Nitrogen.
This means that the Nitrogen forms in YaraMila™ WINNER™ are a combination of quicker and slower availability. This balance helps ensure the crop the best opportunity for rapid growth, higher yields and larger produce.
YaraMila™ WINNER™ is a combination of Potassium Chloride (65%) and Potassium Sulphate (35%). It is important for all crops and gives the plant tolerance to both stress and diseases. It dissolves quickly. It has excellent handling and spreading properties.

YaraVera AMIPLUS (46% N + NBPT) is a urea fertiliser with added urease inhibitor to decrease nitrogen losses, increasing urea effectiveness to improve nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) of crops
The nitrogen in a standard urea fertiliser has to go through two chemical conversions before it is available to crops. This process is known to lead to significant nitrogen losses through volatilisation. Recent trials have placed this loss to be an average of 27% (full range of losses were from 10 to 58%).
YaraVera AMIPLUS contains NBPT, a urease inhibitor, which delays urea degradation therefore keeping fertilizer N longer in the urea form, avoiding the volatilisation losses seen in straight urea products. Trials have shown the inhibitor to reduce these losses to as low as 5%.It is important to note that to achieve the lowest level of nitrogen losses a nitrate fertiliser is always preferable.
